✅ Our approach:. 1. Show solNAV (SOL Premium Ratio) = Market Cap ÷ SOL Holdings. 2. Show traditional mNAV = Market Cap ÷ Book Value. Both matter — but now you can see the premium investors place purely on the SOL treasury.

Example:. Market Cap: $393.4M. SOL Treasury: 1.42M SOL × $193.27 = $274.4M. solNAV = 1.43 → market values Asset at 1.43× its SOL holdings.

Why❓. Critics will say, “solNAV ignores other assets/business value.”. Others will argue that “solNAV isolates the pure SOL treasury premium.”.

We introduced the formula:. solNAV = Market Cap ÷ SOL Holdings. This strips everything down to just the SOL treasury.

The formula, traditionally, is calculated as follows:. Traditional mNAV = Market Cap ÷ Book Value (all assets – liabilities). This captures the entire balance sheet — cash, investments, operations, etc.

Understanding NAV — mNAV vs solNAV. NAV (Net Asset Value) is how we measure what a company is “worth” compared to its assets. Traditionally, NAV = (Total Assets – Liabilities). But in crypto, things get tricky.
