Resistance to theory takes many forms. Some people are too busy, otherwise preoccupied, fighting fires, disinterested, impatient for change, virtuously practical, simply too senior or content to delegate such work to someone else. are we missing a trick?.

So much of our focus in trying to spread improvements is in "explicit" knowledge: toolkits, good practice databases, standardised pathways etc. Most of the content that AI repurposes from online resources is explicit knowledge. Yet the biggest opportunities are in "tacit"
