In January the BBC covered a story about our campaign and concerns around the use of Oxevision. This is the video from the BBC South West coverage (although there was other national and regional coverage) Oxehealth have now rebranded as LIO Health https://t.co/Na7zbC3JcM

TW death / neglect Another young woman with mental health problems has been found dead in a flat. She missed a mental health appointment. She had been dead for a year. Her last conversation was with ChatGPT. I fear this for so many of us.

A devastating conclusion to Abbi’s inquest: the coroner said she is satisfied BPD was an incorrect diagnosis and that it was a large reason Abbi’s autism was underplayed+she was discharged after 6 days despite clearly and repeatedly telling everyone she was going to kill herself.
Today a coroner Sonia Hayes (Essex) delivered the most thorough two and a half hour inquest conclusion I have ever heard. I couldn’t do it justice, it really should be recorded and broadcast in full. But here’s a small version of what was said and why it was important: ⬇️

And its psychiatry’s mistake - why did early #ADHD research only study boys? Psychiatry’s misogyny left half the population behind. Now male psychiatrists are the ones proclaiming its overdiagnosed today. Take a long hard look in the mirror - you lot created this.

I got diagnosed with ‘rapid cycling’ bipolar disorder ffs. I had #Adhd all along but it was never considered because it was missed by CAMHS who didn’t ask any questions that would have uncovered a female presentation. 20 years on heavy duty psych meds to no avail.

Here we go bashing #ADHD diagnoses…. Yes there is an increase at the moment - all the non male, non cis gender, non white, non predominantly hyperactive people are rightly finally starting to get their life-long struggles recognised.

"I don't think Reform have got any interest in what goes on around here. They're just a load of multimillionaires from England." This Caerphilly man spells out why Nigel Farage didn't win the by-election.

An extraordinary clip, and one that is damning of the UK media.
It tells us that for the rest of the UK Wales continues to be mis-understood and overlooked. It also immediately repeats the failures which contributed to this thumping victory and shows how the UK establishment hasn't learnt anything. https://t.co/Ir7WRuDmQJ

Finally, some recognition of institutional abuse in community services. In a system where most pts will never be hospitalised, this is so needed. Fantastic paper - brilliant work ❤️
Finally published 😊 Will do a thread next week! https://t.co/qI6gHJ4S6B

Grok hasn’t even got the name of our deceased candidate right. Its Hefin David not Wayne David. They aren’t related either. Wayne was our MP at Westminster, and Hefin our Senedd Member.

And as for cost to the NHS - my #ADHD medication costs me £9.50 a month (some versions are more expensive £40 -£50 a month). It does not make economic sense to prevent accessible and timely NHS assessments and treatment.

I am lucky, i am privilidged in many ways. I am paying privately and will have to for the next 5 or so years. But so many cannot do this. So many can’t fulfill their potentials, with poor health outcomes, not able to work, not able to look after family, relationships etc

I feel like I’ve been completely written off - i’m living out a life of poor outcomes from a missed #ADHD diagnosis and UK governmentd are letting us languish on the scrap heap, prolonging and entrenching these poor outcomes through negligantly long waiting lists.

Adult #ADHD waiting list in my area @AneurinBevanUHB is 3 years for an appointment to ‘validate’ a private diagnosis & 18 months at least on top for an appointment for medication. I’m currently 1 year in, despite decades of contact with mental health services. @WelshGovernment

Plaid have won a massive victory in the Caerphilly by-election beating Reform comfortably. The Labour vote has totally collapsed. It seems that in Caerphilly more people feared those who oppose immigration than the immigrants themselves.

😂 I have a degree in Theology mate. No need to lecture me about Christs teaching 😂
@ResearchPixie Bethan, you are really wayyy off. You have fallen for all the buzz words elevated by MSM & voted against a party which would of profited Caerphilly. This is what happens when you neglect Christs teaching. You will be caused to believe a lie! I feel so sorry for people like you!
