Prof. CM Naim of the University of Chicago has passed away. Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji‘un. He was very happy when I called him my Nana Pir (my PhD supervisor’s PhD supervisor). The silsila-i Naimiyya lives on. 🤲🏼
