Sad to hear of Prof. C.M. Naim's passing. His work opened worlds within Urdu literature, and his contributions will continue to help generations of learners.
Prof. CM Naim of the University of Chicago has passed away. Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji‘un. He was very happy when I called him my Nana Pir (my PhD supervisor’s PhD supervisor). The silsila-i Naimiyya lives on. 🤲🏼
