This AUV is acquired with a grant from the NWO Large-scale Scientific Infrastructure (NWO-GWI), awarded to a broad nationwide marine research consortium of universities, institutes and TO2 institutions. It will greatly enhance Dutch research in oceans and on ocean floors.👇

Earlier this week the hull of RV Wim Wolff was launched for transport from Dijkstra Metaalbewerking to Thecla Bodewes Shipyards in Harlingen for the finishing phase. In the next months the electrical installations, the engine room, carpentry, etc. will be installed.
