As we await the jury’s decision, I’m thinking about the families.

Seriously, when I started here, I couldn’t imagine that on my final day in Congress, I would be in the White House and @POTUS would say this. Thx, Mr. President.

We must stand with and for each other as we help rebuild our communities after the devastation of Hurricane Ian. I mourn the loss of life and property, and hope that recovery is swift.

I'm glad the U.S. moved swiftly to support the protestors in Iran, and I applaud the Administration's decision to issue a General License which will counter the Iranian regime's censorship and advance internet freedom and the free flow of information for the Iranian people.

In an attempt to deflect from these ongoing protests, Iran has launched drones and missiles at Iraq, which have killed at least 13 people - including a US citizen. These attacks also seriously threaten U.S. troops in Iraq and violate Iraq’s sovereignty.

Powerful protests continue to spread across Iran as brave Iranians fight against their government's brutality & injustice. In response, Iranian security forces have violently cracked down on protests, incl by killing dozens, arresting thousands, & limiting access to the internet.

As we remember the 1941 massacre of Jews at Babyn Yar in Ukraine, Russia’s claim that Ukraine must be “denazified” insults all who suffered, and those who bravely resisted, during the Nazi regime. Distorting the history of the Holocaust undermines efforts to prevent atrocities.
