Massive cuts to public broadcasting- what a mistake the Senate has made. As Senator Thom Tillis (R) said, "I suspect we’re going to find out there are some things we’re going to regret".

Too steep, too fast!.Our school boards, superintendents, and parents are worried about federal funding for schools being drastically cut this year. This is an area where we really are going to have a difficult time covering big cuts from the federal level.

No more ban on Sunday hunting means more time for PA families to bond while hunting and increased revenue for local businesses like outfitters, restaurants, and hotels. #SundayHunting.

Woke up so heartbroken over the tragedy in Texas. Watching coverage of the first responders out there working for days reinforced my belief that if a first responder tells me they need money for equipment- I’ll fight for it. No questions asked. They know what they need.

Taking health insurance and food assistance from half a million poor people in PA is cruel. Pennsylvania already leads the nation in rooting out waste. I just don’t see how this move will positively impact us enough to make this cruelty worth it.
