House Republicans have rushed through the President’s Big Ugly Bill – all so he can have a photo op on the Fourth of July. I voted NO. See my full statement below:

House Democrats are united in voting against President Trump’s Big Ugly Bill. When it comes to gutting Medicaid, slashing SNAP, and cutting millions of jobs, we’re voting no. We just need four Republicans to join us.

House Republicans are allowing for ONLY ONE HOUR of debate on a 887 page bill that includes the largest cuts to health care and food assistance in American history. So we’re using every tool available – including an old-fashioned conga line – to slow this thing down.
