No man or woman that is fighting for our country should be food insecure. We are working to fix that in the FY25 NDAA.
Military families have told HASC that they have had to rely on food banks and programs like SNAP and WIC to afford food.
This is unacceptable.

will require DOD to reevaluate the Basic Allowance for Subsistence and will expand access to the Basic Needs Allowance.
