When I joined Congress, it felt like many Americans were losing faith in our democracy, in part because it wasn’t delivering for them. I’m proud to have been part of a Congress that did much of what Americans had been demanding for years. And I’m grateful for serving you. -TM

If we make banks report dirty money but allow law, real estate, & accounting firms to look the other way, that creates a loophole that crooks & kleptocrats can sail a yacht through. Our bill closes that loophole and encourages the administration to move in the same direction -TM

Ten years ago, our country lost 20 children and 6 educators in the horrific shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School. We must continue to honor those taken from us that day by taking further action against gun violence.

Tom secured funding authorizations for water infrastructure projects in our community. The funding was inserted into the biennial Water Resources Development Act (WRDA), which passed the House yesterday! 🚰
