Our first joint public action as Chair and Vice Chair of the Health Subcommittee took place at the Lee County Community Hospital. I am committed to working with Vice Chair Harshbarger to improve health care access for rural communities and help rural hospitals serve patients.

Prayers for the victims of the devastating Texas floods and their families. As Southwest Virginia and others send first responder crews to assist, we also pray for the first responders’ health and safety during their mission.
Swiftwater rescue crews from Southwest Virginia are going to Texas to help with the search and recovery efforts following devasting flooding.
