This morning, I presented HB 4862, a bill that updates the Business Organizations Code to strengthen Texas businesses. The bill maintains Texas' position as the leading business state by keeping the code user-friendly and helpful to all companies, regardless of size. #txlege

This morning, I introduced HB 1899, which strengthens the fireworks industry and expands our workforce across the state. The bill expands the eligibility of employees for certain fireworks licenses and permits while maintaining existing safety standards. #txlege

Today I laid out my first 2 bills. HB 1480 allows state grants for new city libraries and HCR 77 urges the US to enforce the 1944 Water Treaty. Libraries and water are important to our communities. Working on these issues today gives us a brighter tomorrow. #txlege
