Wonderful to tour a CRH (Irish company) manufacturing plant in Pierce Co. that provides critical product that is sold to places from Home Depot, Lowe’s and beyond to build, use in landscaping and diverse projects. These folks provide family wage jobs for workers in the region and

Always happy to cast my ballot! Such an incredible right that I never take for granted. Truly a treat I refuse to miss. We are so fortunate to live in a country that allows this fundamental freedom. There are too many critical races from councils, charter commission, school

Great job! Really grateful the Governor and team came to the site to talk to folks and see for himself what a lifeline this bridge is. Way to finish and get it open early. Such fab news for families and businesses alike in that area and Pierce County. @PierceCo @GovBobFerguson

Lovely fall day in Portland for the @PNWER PNW Rail Summit. Glad to advocate for a robust rail system for both passenger and freight and continue to secure state and federal funds. #pnw #ridetherails

Beautiful afternoon cutting the ribbon on the new roundabout on Grandview Avenue in University Place. This was a partnership between State and City funding. I was proud to deliver results and support this important community safety project with near $800,000 in transportation

It's a beautiful morning as families reunite with their living loved ones. I pray still for those who don't have their deceased home. I also hope Hamas is fully eradicated from the area in order for lasting peace to prosper. Our Jewish residents in WA and my district deserve also

I wore my yellow ribbon hostage pin last week to remember the hostages and hold them close as I have hope for their rapid release. Today may be a very wonderful moment. #bringthemhome

Visited and toured Western State Hospital again yesterday. Looking forward to the forensic portion being completed. I have stood up for workers as they do dangerous and risky work and grateful to my colleagues for supporting my bill this year in Hb1162 to address workplace

PSA - Landlords - it's not legal to start eviction proceedings for folks who are on furlough because of the shutdown. I have tons of federal workers in my district and have several who are showing up to work and not getting paid. That means folks can't pay their rent, bills,

The road ahead is far from assured but this is a good day, and I hope, will be followed by the hostage release & further steps to a just, sustainable peace. Credit the @POTUS, & Israeli & Palestinian people, who pressured their leaders to act. https://t.co/ea22XYVpLm via @NYTimes

Wonderful to join newly formed DuPont Chamber of Commerce this morning and engage with some 28thLD small businesses. I enjoyed my morning with them and listening to challenges they face. Thank you for having me. #28thLDStrong

Had so much fun visiting with children from Carter Lake Elementary School last Friday. Loved reading to the K class as well as listening to ideas from our 4th graders. As a military kid who also went to school on a base school, and having lived in Ft. Lewis when younger, it was
