The team made a business decision focused on hosting future spectacles, not their fan experience, and Kansas leaders are leveraging too much off their taxpayers in their efforts to be seen as a major league state. 4/4

I had Steve Bono and Elvis Grbac jerseys as a kid growing up in Kearney. As a fan, I fear the Kansas dome will be a smaller, more expensive stadium experience that replicates the stale atmospheres of Dallas, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. 3/4

The Show-Me Sports Investment Act balanced the need to protect taxpayers from a bad deal with our desire to keep the NFL in Missouri and further the unparalleled experience of Arrowhead for the next generation. 2/4

I'm as disappointed as so many on the Missouri side of the Kingdom, but proud of the efforts Missouri made. 1/4 #moleg

It's hard to understate just how badly federal red tape has hampered our nation's ability to build. Not just roads and bridges, but also homes and businesses. I'm glad the U.S. House passed the PERMIT Act today to rein in federal excess and restore some sanity to a broken process
Permitting processes take far too long, delaying infrastructure projects and costing folks' money. The PERMIT Act will cut red tape and streamline the process. Iβm looking forward to getting it passed in the House and including permitting reforms in the Highway Bill next year as

I appreciate the introspection from MODOT, as it is clear Missouri drivers deserve better service during a 3-in snow event. "The Missouri Department of Transportation rated the department's response to the first snow as a three out of 10." #moleg

"Once you do start having accidents on interstates and around the area, it slows our ability to get to those because weβre sitting in the backlog just like everybody else," a MoDOT spokesperson said....

This is the effect of passing Senate Bill 4, which I was proud to handle in the House, this Spring. Missouri is incentivizing new generation and economic development while also putting in protections for Missouri families. #moleg

I appreciate the hospitality from the @MoDNR team in showing off one of the gems of the system - Watkins Woolen Mill State Park and State Historic Site. The kids had a blast seeing the mill and the Watkins' House, both of which have been excellently conserved.

I'm all for fully funding the education formula and keeping our promises to school districts, but the State cannot continue to bail out districts with increased funding to make up for their poor budget decisions. 4/4 #moleg

By not matching their staffing decisions with their enrollment numbers, Missouri public schools are charging taxpayers an extra $297 million for positions that are mostly non-teaching roles. 3/4 #moleg

Missouri public school enrollment has been dropping since 2015, but specifically from 2020-2024 over 19,000 students statewide left public schools or never enrolled. Over that same period, schools hired an πππππ‘πππππ 700 staff members. 2/4 #moleg
