While this legislation is not a final product, it's a step in the right direction of completing a #PaBudget that works for the entire commonwealth.

The #PaBudget bill that recently passed the House would improve the lives of all Pennsylvanians by investing in quality education, healthcare, and fire and safety programs.

I'm urging you to call your state Senator and ask them to come back to the Capitol to resume budget negotiations.

One of the sticking points in the #PABudget is revenue. @PaHouseDems have proposed safely and responsibly legalizing adult use cannabis as a source of revenue; however, the state Senate is not in Harrisburg right now to negotiate.

Call your state Senator and urge them to return to Harrisburg to pass a state budget.

It's July 10th and when the PA Senate Republicans fail to show up to help negotiate a budget in good faith we can't pass legislation to lift up all Pennsylvanians. Raising the minimum wage would improve the lives of hundred of thousands of workers across the commonwealth.

My @PaHouseDems colleagues and I are in Harrisburg and ready to pass a budget. However, the PA Senate is not here to negotiate to keep mass transit across the commonwealth running properly. Mass transit is a people issue, and we must pass a budget to keep mass transit moving.

Put down the phone while you're in the car! Paul Miller's Law makes it illegal to drive while using a cellphone or mobile device in your hand. This law goes into effect this week across PA. Let's keep our communities and neighbors safe and #EndDistractedDriving.

We should be making it easier, not harder for people to express their voice at the ballot box. The Voting Rights Protection Act has my full support because voting is a fundamental right under the U.S. Constitution.

Everyone deserves the basics in life. I was proud to vote for the Working Pennsylvanians Tax Credit. The hard working folks of Montgomery County deserve a hand up, not a hand out.
