Three cheers for the end of the Chevron defense used by federal agencies to defend their over-reach of power! This decision was a huge win for America!

Sad to learn of the passing of PA State Senator Earl Baker. A dear friend and a wonderful gentleman of faith and leadership excellence. We could use a few more folks like Earl in the public square! RIP dear friend.

Third run this week started out rough, like the Biden-shuffle, but ended strong! Fairly breezy day, but nice temps and beautiful sunshine. A run day that just felt great.

“Decent” 5K run today for winter-level conditions. There are times when I miss the 22 year-old, running me! But, to be out there running at a “bit-older” age is a blessing. Friends, keep charging up those hills!

Thought provoking op-ed by Peggy Noonan in weekend WSJ on Media coverage of the 2024 presidential race. Can the media actually step up and provide coverage this year? It’s an open question!

Celebrated my (almost) 60th birthday with a steamy hot 4-miler. One seriously hot run, but it felt great. Living a life of gratitude!

Boot Jack Road near my home village of Churchtown. Thank you, Commissioner! We appreciate this investment at the easternmost end of Lancaster County, PA.
County government has been working for a number of years to repair or replace all County owned bridges. We have a great team working on this Bridge Capital Improvement Project. Work on the LAST bridge we need to replace is underway.

Happy 100th birthday to Henry Kissinger. It’s impossible to encapsulate the impact he had on US policy during the Nixon/Ford years. While he is more of a globalist than I will ever be, Dr. Kissinger’s service to his adopted homeland is respected and appreciated!

Congratulations to our British friends upon the coronation of King Charles III. Up for coffee (instead of tea) and scones, for a ceremony that dates to 1066.
