Tariffs + rebate checks = charging you extra for groceries, then handing you a coupon with Trump’s face on it and calling it a gift. Bonus: your groceries still cost more.
Howard Lutnick on rebate checks: Tariff revenue is gonna be $600,$700,$800,$900, $1T. The President is thinking about, look, I've created this value from all our people. Why not share that money with the people?... He cares so much about the American people.

Oregon’s still one of the blue spots on that map. Good if you already own, lousy if your kids want to. The trick isn’t timing the market, it’s keeping the next generation from needing a winning lottery ticket just to live here.
The industry helps drive economic growth. Housing employs a lot of people and homes are a slug of many families’ net worth. It is worth watching to see where the economy is heading

BREAKING: FIRE is suing Secretary of State Marco Rubio, challenging the laws he is using to target lawfully present noncitizens for speech protected by the Constitution. No administration should be able to deport lawfully present noncitizens for their opinions.

Oregon’s wildfire maps don’t stop fires—they just label homeowners as the problem. Instead of thinning forests, clearing deadwood, or funding fire suppression, the state slaps a “high-risk” tag on properties, tanking home values.
