Today, the most wonderful thing about #TypeScript is that it brings the benefits of static types to JS without taking the expressiveness away from you. There is something truly magical about it.

About ~15 years ago, I moved away from statically typed programming languages to #JavaScript because something about the freedom and expressiveness of JS made me fall in love with it. I loved it, but I missed the benefits of static types.
