What does #BlackLivesMatter mean to entrepreneurs? #Entrepreneurs have the opportunity to become catalysts for change, & make conscious decisions to be active & responsible corporate citizens that include & empower young, black #SouthAfricans.

These conversations raise the question of #justice, #morality, and #opportunity; and highlight the importance of 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 building businesses that drive conscious #change within South Africa.

We're asking the @go2uj #JBS #MBA students to reflect on #SouthAfrica's post-apartheid progress in relation to #BlackLivesMatter, and share their thoughts on solutions for the present & future. Change requires difficult conversations.

We're here to give a perspective on the 'Appropriate Human Responses to Black Lives Matter' in the #SouthAfrican context; to evolve our thinking around #BlackLivesMatter and the various elements that make up the movement as a whole.

Our @go2uj #JBS #MBA conversation is based on the recent breakthrough in addressing systemic #racism, and how entrepreneurs can position themselves in terms of the realities of #BlackLivesMatter in #SouthAfrica.

Many South Africans agree that broad-based black economic empowerment (B-BBEE) has yet to deliver economic freedom for the majority. #ReimagineSA Executive Director, @MrMadasa wrote an article last year that highlighted some ways to enhance B-BBEE so that it unleashes more value.
