If you are a coach an athletic director a parent or someone guiding athletes: do you see the structural gap forming? And what is your school doing to prepare for it? This is no longer optional. It is already in motion. Structure must be installed.

Colleges have compliance departments. High schools do not. That is the gap. If no one fills it someone will exploit it. The question is not whether this role is needed. The question is how many athletes will be exposed before schools admit they waited too long.

This is not about branding or recruiting strategy. This is about operational safety. Families need someone who can explain what not to sign who not to trust what rules apply in what state and how to manage a multi-year process from high school to college without collapse.

The person guiding an athlete through this cannot just be a coach. It cannot be a teacher. It must be someone whose job is to govern the process. A GM or structural rep who understands how to protect the athlete through every phase of recruitment and transfer.
