It’s a fact. And Kentucky is grateful for our General Assembly’s historic investment in CTE in the 2022 budget—an additional $58 million for CTE allowed us to fund ALL CTE programs in our commonwealth! We continue to advocate for adequate funding in the 2024 budget and beyond!
As technology evolves rapidly, CTE programs must keep up with the pace! Programs need industry-standard equipment to build the skills students will need for success in their chosen career field.

Demand is growing for #CTE, with nearly 12 million learners participating in CTE during the most recent year for which we have data. Robust investment for CTE programs is required in FY24 to address chronic underfunding/inflation and support continued interest and growth in CTE.
