Ireland is a great place for many children to live in. but the sheer level of pain & suffering of children whose needs are not prioritised or budgeted for is astounding.That parallel reality can be hard to fathom when you find yourself in the latter group.There is no safety net.

. scared to go to sleep. scared to go to the shops. scared to take their eyes off their child.because they can't get any inpatient support .or because their 16/17 year old is "too old" for a paediatric ward but too young for an adult one.

4/ The challenges being faced by families across the country continue. you might presume serious support is provided to children who are attempting suicide. but parents in our group are being left with responsibility for 24/7 suicide watch. .
