A player makes a long pass towards a forward who is in an offside position. A defender also chases after the ball and kicks it first while running (limited contact with the ball in the air). After that, the forward receives the ball and passes it to a team-mate who scores a goal.

Everyone at the League of Ireland would like to send on our deepest condolences to the family and friends of former LOI official Martin Moloney who has sadly passed away. A much loved member of the Irish football community, Martin will be missed and fondly remembered by all.
