One way to measure progress, IMO: Being able to play your own person as a character in a story and sensing your authenticity is fundamental. Being able to feel that same authenticity with a character who is *vastly* different than you is progress. One character at a time. 💪❤️

The first question every coach has ever asked after the first take: "Who are you talking to?" The lines in the script aren't spoken to an inanimate monolith. There is, indeed, a live character in a story you're interacting with. Sounds like a fine skill to hone. 😏💪
