We have seen the news over the last few days that young people are still struggling to access period products in schools and colleges. This is such disheartening news and naturally we will do all that we can to improve matters. https://t.co/8tSCCWOkR6

This is fantastic to see! Normalising periods in assemblies helps tackle the stigma around menstruation and helps people seek period products when they need them! Thank you Chorlton High School!

We are saddened to hear of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Royal Family at this time. Rest in peace, ma'am.

Sometimes, ignorance can begin to hinder one's outlook and understanding of a problem. We will continue to raise awareness of the true issues facing people experiencing period poverty. 5/

Parties, vacations, restaurants... To this person, it's great that they're able to access these things but we can assure you, many of the people experiencing period poverty, or other aspects of poverty too - food poverty, fuel poverty - they aren't partaking in such things 4/

In plain sight, no work means an even smaller budget. Even more tougher decisions to be made like choosing between heating the home or eating food. The rising tide of costs mean people currently have to make those decisions, and many more will be forced to in the near future 3/

More so, people are facing a turbulent storm, decisions between eating or heating their homes In order weather the storm, things like transportation are needed to help people keep jobs, their livelihoods. No transport, no work. 2/

It seems someone else needs some education on #PeriodPoverty too. Don't worry, we've got you covered! ✊🩸 Here's a thread for you πŸ‘‡ Firstly, mobile phones aren't absorbent - so would make an awful period product. Not very practical at all. 1/
