HB358 was a simple housekeeping bill and it’s clear from the veto message that neither @KellyAyotte nor her staff understood the bill or its history. Considering this bill had Democrat as well as republican support, we feel it is possible to overturn the veto on this.

Sure she signed the Parent Bill of Rights but the real question is:. Will she sign the full NH Parental Rights Package that includes a variety of bills that correct real issues parents currently face in NH?.

Mandatory disclosure is also in the newly signed “parent bill of rights” but with no practical means of enforcement. SB96 as amended by the House sought to create real teeth for the law. Unfortunately, the Senate wasn’t interested in passing real enforcement and House walked.
Talks break off on @tlangsr "transparency in schools" bill (SB 96) to require educators answer parental inquiries about their children. Sen. Lang, R-Sanbornton, said he'll return with new bill in 2026. #nhpolitics.

In response to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center mandating vaccines and violating the NH Patient Bill of Rights, RebuildNH worked to have repercussions added to law for violations of the Patient Bill of Rights. We are happy to report that this provision survived the committee.
