HB358 was a simple housekeeping bill and it’s clear from the veto message that neither @KellyAyotte nor her staff understood the bill or its history. Considering this bill had Democrat as well as republican support, we feel it is possible to overturn the veto on this.

Hits just keep on coming.
Gov. Kelly Ayotte has vetoed three favorite bills of social conservatives, to allow segregation by biological sex, to make it easier to censor material in public schools considered to be obscene and to compel parents to "opt in" for their children to take risk behavior surveys.

BREAKING: Gov. Kelly Ayotte has *vetoed* House Bill 324, a bill to make it easier for parents and guardians to remove "obscene" books and materials from schools. Veto confirmed via Secretary of State's Office. GOP lawmakers will need 2/3 majorities to overturn. #NHPolitics.

Sure she signed the Parent Bill of Rights but the real question is:. Will she sign the full NH Parental Rights Package that includes a variety of bills that correct real issues parents currently face in NH?.
NH Gov @KellyAyotte is on @thepulseofnh touting @NHGOP successes in her first six months:. -- Budget.-- Ban cellphones in school. -- Parent bill of rights.-- Universal EFAs.

Our executive director details the fight to end vaccine rulemaking in NH. With ACIP continuing to back the push for RSV vaccines and replacing old vaccines with mRNA platforms, removing DHHS’s power to mandate vaccines seems more important than ever. Luckily, rulemaking over.
The Liberty Lobbyist: The Rise of the Political Influencer. After I describe NH’s big medical freedom win, I’m joined by David Reaboi for a fascinating discussion about the rise of the right wing political influencer, the concerning elements on the right, and what broke the cult.

No questions should be off limits when seeking answers to this devastating problem.
I've witnessed a tragic crisis unfold in NH and it's important that everyone is aware of this striking statistic: New Hampshire is first in the nation for pediatric cancer. We need to be on the frontlines of the fight for life and that starts with awareness. Read more below👇

Mandatory disclosure is also in the newly signed “parent bill of rights” but with no practical means of enforcement. SB96 as amended by the House sought to create real teeth for the law. Unfortunately, the Senate wasn’t interested in passing real enforcement and House walked.
Talks break off on @tlangsr "transparency in schools" bill (SB 96) to require educators answer parental inquiries about their children. Sen. Lang, R-Sanbornton, said he'll return with new bill in 2026. #nhpolitics.
