Pro Cooking 1 students took the role as culinary specialists by doing a Chopped Challenge involving TOTM meals from the military. From the two meals, their challenge was to plate an appetizer, entree, and dessert. Thank you to our area Army/National Guard recruiters!

Making rainbow bagels in Baking & Pastry to end the yeast breads unit. Even though it was a long process to fully incorporate the food dye into the dough, the end result sure was beautiful!

Professional Cooking 1 students took a field trip to Sand Valley to tour their facilities and get a glimpse into potential career opportunities. They were able to get a smash burger demonstration by one of their sous chefs as well!

Baking and Pastry students have learned about the functions of ingredients. To end the week, each group made chococlate chip cookies with one ingredient change. Based on the changes, the cookies sure turned out differently!

Ice Cream Innovations created by Baking & Pastry students! Each bakery made a cookie and created a new ice cream flavor that involved the cookie. They also made an ice cream label and commercial to market their product! #FCS
