So was Joe, yet she’s the only one paying it. Why should you only pay something back because the court makes you? Shouldn’t you feel bad that you spent stolen money and want to give back? That’s the whole point. You shouldn’t have to be convicted to do the right thing

Difference is Teresa blindly signed docs entangling herself in the fraud. Erika had zero to do w/ the law firm & was just a housewife trusting her husband coming home w/ a paycheck; she lucked out that Tom was too controlling to have her name on anything
