I have a piece out for @ConversationUK today about audiences and male nudity in the theatre: #slaveplay @SlavePlayBway.
theconversation.com
If policing the audience during the play is necessary, perhaps the casting or the nudity needs reconsidering, otherwise both simply read as gimmicks.

🌊🌊🌊 3 waves 4 #Solaris @LyricHammer The structure is filmic, which usually I dislike; however, the projections and versatile set create meaning during the many scene changes. Thought experiment of the plot is most intriguing: perhaps this novel didn’t need to be a play.
