The last time Caleb Allen was on the field at Polar Park, the Ashburnham resident led the Oakmont Regional baseball team to their second straight Division 3 state championship. Tonight, Allen returned as a member of the Worcester Bravehearts — who he will pitch for this summer.

Although it was not the result we wanted in the end, we had an unforgettable season that I would not trade for anything. We battled hard up until the end and I am extremely proud of this group. Stats from the season: Avg: .390 RBI: 14 OPS: .847 Only 3 strike outs.
