One of the most interesting aspects of this novel is the fact that the novel that started it (The Monkey's Raincoat) is missing from the list. Should I let @robertcrais know? ππ

12 out of the 14 notifications I received today were from "bots". It was lovely hearing from the actual people I interact with usually. I miss the people who don't interact anymore. Tired of bots and the doubt and wondering why. It's time to move on. Any thoughts/suggestions?

Log in to X today and find seven notifications....all bots. There are some great people on here that are real and I enjoy interacting with but after this, I'm wondering.....is it worth it?

I wonder if the new EXORCIST film will be dedicated to either William Friedkin or Max von Sydow or both? π€

So I've noticed a lot of Horror fans here, interacted with a few (Hi guys!). It made me wonder....How would you feel with a continuation of the Psycho story a la recent Halloween and Exorcist films? Just wondering.

The only notification I received today was from bots with lady names. And I will have to pay for this experience one day? No thanks Tom Hanks. #thelonggoodbye

Just when things on Twitter can't be sad enough. I have often thought about things like this.
Today, I picked up a beat-up stack of John D. MacDonald novels at the Salvation Army. I already have most of them in trade paperback, but it was obvious this stack had belonged to one person -- they were all together on the shelf. Whoever it was had obviously been a MacDonald fan

This page is a recent discovery and I dig it. It's all about novelisation which I love. Finally learnt that this was a novelisation and not an adaptation of a novel that I first thought. I tried asking Mr Stallone once....
