I complained and they told me they can’t slash the entire fee so I still had to pay R90 of that fare that I had already paid

I didn’t request the driver to go anywhere else, we went straight to my destination and the price changed! Mind you this is not the first time this happens to me, about 3 weeks ago I requested a ride and chose the cash option, paid the driver and three days later I didn’t pay.

I really don’t know what’s going on at @Uber_RSA, I paid for a ride yesterday R171 I wake up this morning and it sends me this “review & pay” prompt saying I owe uber R223 because I didn’t pay, I mize it and a couple of seconds later they take R52 rand to get to the R223!!!
