🧵A thread and a question. We all have a Bible verse that makes us stop and say, “Wait… what?”. Question of the Day:.What’s the most difficult or disturbing Bible verse for you—and what do you think it means? Share in replies 👇✝️

5/ For more on this I wrote a thread specifically about the True Presence—all biblical. Many protestants love to claim supreme knowledge of scripture yet never quote it…pretty strange for people who worship sola scriptura 👇.

1/ Today’s Gospel Reflection by TOC: “I am the living bread that came down from heaven.”—John 6:51. Jesus isn’t speaking metaphorically. He means it—literally. And this one truth exposes a deeper issue with modern Christianity. A thread: 🧵

4/ I’m not here to win an argument. I’m here to bear witness to what the Church has always taught—what the early Christians believed and died for long before modern divisions. If you’re interested in truth, study the early Church, not just modern assumptions.

3/ Read Heb 9:24-28 carefully, then read 1 Cor 10:16 and 11:27-29. Paul warns that to receive the Eucharist unworthily is to sin against the Body and Blood of the Lord—not a symbol. Why such strong language if it’s just symbolic?”.

2/ JN 6 is crystal clear—Jesus didn’t correct the crowd when they took His words literally, He doubled down. Heb doesn't contradict this. In fact, it confirms that Christ’s sacrifice is once for all—the Eucharist is a participation in that one eternal sacrifice, not a repetition.

1/ This guy is making a common mistake: assuming that because the Catholic Church explains and develops doctrine over time, it somehow contradicts Scripture. In reality, the Church interprets and teaches what was handed down from Christ and the apostles.

Fixed this for the protestors: . If you are rejecting what Jesus taught us in John 6 about His Flesh as TRUE food and His Blood as TRUE drink, then your problem is with Christ and not His One Holy and Apostolic Catholic Church. Who agrees? Give me a 🙏 in the comments!.

7/.Saint Bridget’s life was not limited to cloistered prayer. She walked boldly into the heart of 14th-century Europe—rebuking kings, calling popes back to Rome, and pleading for a holier Church. She even founded a new religious order: the Bridgettines.
