Championship teams don’t chase the scoreboard. They chase the standard. Wins are what show up on game day. Standards are what show up every day in meetings, workouts, and practice. Hold the standard and the wins will take care of themselves.

Just in: FSU will retire Charlie Ward’s basketball jersey before Sunday’s exhibition between FSU and Florida A&M, where Ward is the new coach. Ward will be the first FSU athlete (and must be on a short list of college athletes) to have his football and basketball jersey retired.

We had problems but not the ones on being loyal to the university that gave us a chance to earn a degree and make a name for ourselves. Someone gave me a scholarship to get a degree while making a name for myself. Who is getting paid more just muddy the waters

Well that is probably true at every program so this is just easy when things are going according to plan on the field. A couple of guys the benefitted from both experiences. One left and one transferred in but glad we didn’t have these problems.

I still can't believe ZERO FSU Football players stood up for their QB after taking one of the cheapest shots I've ever seen. That's disgusting, man. S/o QB1's effort last night. He's obviously hobbled & got a clear ceiling... but he cares.

Winning and losing has the same mindset. How can we get better from the results. Prepare the win by building daily habits that lead to the outcome. Close wins and close loses have different outcomes but similar process. Making good decisions when you need them
Norvell met Edwin Joseph coming off the field to get onto him about the offsides that led to that Stanford TD. Joseph brushed past him, which led Norvell to get even angrier. They ended up having to be separated. Very heated exchange.

This is what happens when you are frustrated with the situation and going through tough times. We all have done it in our lives so don’t try to make this bigger than it really is. Team keep fighting and they are better than the results.

Not playing complimentary football right now! Just can’t seem to support each other in these close loses. The last big win we played that way where the offense, defense, and special teams had each others back and played with a cushion

Travis Hunter just wants to play ball. The young man doesn’t drink, party, or do any dumb sh*t. You still got folks finding reasons to be mad about things like baptism. Those same people loved Tim Tebow and admonished anyone criticizing him as someone who abhorred his outward

On this day 31 years ago, Florida State football Heisman Trophy winner and hoops standout Charlie Ward was selected 26th overall by the New York Knicks. Ward spent 11 years in the NBA with the Knicks, San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets.
