How far my pixel art image gen has come since 2022 👀 To get that first image it took like a dozen tries. The model was based on Stable Diffusion 1.4 (not 1.5!) Been iterating, training, and developing new tools ever since. Same prompt!

I've made pixel art since I was 12, and done it professionally for 7 years. So its not like im unfamiliar with artistic process. I just don't understand how you can see all the amazing things happening with ai and want nothing to do with it.

Its insane to me that there are *still* artists going out of their way to attack people even tangentially building/using ai tools. Like surely they have to have seen the massive creativity boost by now, unless they are just actively refusing to learn more.
