I have a feeling Dune Part 1 & 2 will be one of those series that no matter how many times you rewatch it - you catch new things & the story comes more alive.

Just finished my second IMAX watch of Part 2. And this might be slightly biased, but Dune part 1&2 might be the best sci-fi movie(s) of the last decade. The LOTR comparisons are spot on.

What Dune Part 1 & Part 2 did so well was give the audience moments of levity. Dune is a dense story with lots of world building. Plans within plans. The audience needs the break that laughter gives, to let all the new info soak in.
