The PWBHS Interact club participated in our last Reading Allies session for the semester. We feel great joy as we have served the students at @TCSSkyland. Our purpose was fulfilled as we watched students grow as proficient readers through the program. Thank you, @ReadingAllies!

Reading Allies is possible thanks to communities that step up and say, “I can help.” Tuscaloosa Police Department volunteers are an example of a group investing their time and energy in our elementary readers and schools. Thank you for volunteering!

Our students are constantly improving their phonics skills. One method of teaching that they love? Letter cards! With their tutor, students are using their phonics skills to recognize sounds, build and manipulate words, and then write! Have you seen letter cards in your lessons?
