Today with the help of volunteers we planted 200 trees this is part of a larger scheme that will see 2800 trees planted around Twiston Beck.Trees are a form of natural flood management, their root systems make the ground more permeable. #floodmanagement #treeplanting #trees

Another interpretation panel installed at Whalley arches. 400 trees were planted here back in March 2019 as part of woodland creation scheme which will help to prevent flooding and increase river bank stabilisation.
