It should be noted that the Chofetz Chaim married off his youngest daughter Feige to Rav Mendel Zaks zt"l in 1923 towards the end of his life. Still he included the above stipulation in the hopes that he would have the opportunity to move to Eretz Yisrael.

When each of the 3 daughters of the Chofetz Chaim got married he stipulated in the Tenaim: Although I committed to support the newly wed couple, should I have the opportunity to move to Eretz Yisrael my son in law cannot object on the grounds that I am abandoning my commitment.
