June 26 ,2025 Epic double hop FM band Es to IL,IN,OH,KY,WV,VA,NC 1622-1644Z window with a solo reception at 1602z to WESC South Carolina.

July 30 we had the one and only 2X Es opening of the season to the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. After a 1 minute window of Cancun FMs, received suspect signals with ads. Using the Turboscribe app was able to decode audio into English text and confirm stations from Valladolid.

Extreme example of "twisting" of sporadic E FM band signals. Endpoint was Chihuahua and Coahuila of Mexico.

Possibly can picture where the multiple midpoints are but the lack of brown multihop colored lines is what caught me off guard.

Although a healthy cluster with a strong opening up to this, this 6 meter map saved at the time of the Alabama reception kind of throws this out as a reliable resource to indicate 2X Es 📷    Video shows how strong WLWI was in the 4 minute period.

Speaking of short distant meteor scatter, just in this morning. KRXQ @ 219 miles. Also 92.5 KBEB Sacramento @ 240 and 93.1 Pollock Pines 195 miles in same burst

1 minute meteor burn with UT,WY,SD. Extra sensitive RDS 99.3 KKBB off the back of the antenna only 184 miles. Interesting how often get super short Ms like this in conjunction with opposite direction. (edited).

7/18 double hop Es. Only about half of the totals. Turn on CC for details. First part shows how the opening began with the 1st signals and a couple pesky distractions. 2nd part shows a mix of 1X and 2X then the last just a string of 2X Es IDs.
