Look for states and local agencies to take the lead in speed management policies following @ITEhq leadership toward #VisionZero. Let science dictate proper facilities where 85th percentile can play a role in improved safety not misapplication of research or emotions.

Setting speed limits will take a new approach if @TheFHWAOnline follows @ncutcd recommendations developed yesterday by a narrow vote supported by @ITEhq to use context, characteristics and users to guide studies rather than revert simply to the 85th percentile.
