Reporters should ask ICE: if this situation was so dangerous, why did Ross turn his back on a potential terrorist? What was he doing at his car that was so important? Then, when he left his car, why was he filming rather than focusing on the supposed danger? 4/

Adding a clarification - not exculpatory, in fact makes it a bit worse. When the Pilot first start moving (11s) it is reversing to turn. Ross keeps walking til he is in front of it, stops and plants (13s). When the Pilot then moves forward, he fires (14s). (h/t @zhihuachen) 5/

This is the most thorough analysis I have seen so far of the ICE shooting in Minneapolis yesterday from a Visual Investigations team that specializes in open-source techniques and visual analysis. It directly contradicts Trump and Noem and shows the officer was not in danger.

CNN posted a new video of the Minnesota shooting but missed its bombshell. ICE agent Jonathan Ross heads to his own car, turning his back on the supposed "terrorist" (L). He then walks back, filming, into the path of her ALREADY moving vehicle, stops and fires (R). Insane. 1/

On this new video, from a totally new angle in front of the Honda Pilot, you can see that ICE agent Ross didn't get hit at all.
