Extremely happy to announce that I'll be starting as an assistant professor at Indiana State University starting in Fall 2025!

They leave the course with peer reviewed application materials for a job of their choice or a graduate program. Let me tell you: These young professionals are impressive folks! This was a new course for our department, & I'm so thankful I was included in its development.

Many stated they were nervous about the mock interview day I planned in collaboration with @indianastate 's career center. Upon reflection, they appreciated the challenge and stated significant confidence gained in advocating for themselves in their career of interest.

Many reported wanting to solidify their career path with a professional development plan and gain confidence in communicating their strengths. I'm now reading their end-of-semester reflections. I'm not crying, you're crying.

This semester, I designed a capstone course to set undergraduate students up for success with (a) applying for graduate school during the current cycle or (b) transitioning into the workforce. In Week 1, I had students set goals and report their hopes for the course.
