Seeing comments from bus drivers: “I'd wait for her if she's fit”, only reminds me as a flat chested female I'll always be at a disadvantage… 🥲 Claiming any different would be an insult to my intelligence. I recall witnessing a driver opening doors for a busty bird in traffic!

It says a lot about Harlow when their temporary bus station is better than the main one 😂 The trees make it so much more pleasant honestly

If you're familiar with the London bus cab, you might have noticed the MDT (Mobile Data Terminal). It's light grey with a screen and set of buttons on 3 sides of it. Well, turns out they're also used on some MPK Kraków trams, such as this one! 🚃

Lot more happens behind the scenes than people see. That's 1 of them. I feel sad that the Marshall's going to have to be sacrificed, but if I didn't do this, where am I getting rare parts from? Better stripped & scrapped, than just totalled straight away. So it won't go in vain…

Yes this year hasn't been the greatest for rallies. I had all these ambitions, but as months went by, it transpired my goalposts were definitely far too ambitious. But it's not end of the world. They'll just be fixed later if not now. Preservation is not a race, not a competition

And when you see me mention my buses on socials, it's cause I'm proud to own them. They're my babies on wheels. I'd jump in a fire for them. I'd break people's bones too. They're my legacy and I do best I currently can to provide for them. Once I can drive I'll be able to do more

…speaking of which, another man who helps me out did actually cross the line recently, by thinking he can kiss me when we said goodbye. No. That was not ok. I don't know what about me makes people lose their ability to reason, but you'll never get to my heart like that or gifts

I just don't get the sudden twist. I've done nothing wrong that I can recall. I was terrible at replying to messages but that's with virtually everyone. I truly appreciate the bus stuff donated to me, it's lovely, but if you were hoping for something more than friendship, nope…

Perhaps it's a bit of an emotional tweet, & no doubt the usual favourite accusations of “attention seeking” will fly regardless, but I felt I need to fight my corner after certain someone who previously helped me out, decided to now do digs on a big FB group and block me. Really?

Are we really getting to the point where folk are annoyed at me that my preserved buses are not out? Try juggling everything when you work 7d in a row, don't own a car, take driving lessons, still wanna travel & stuff for self-care, & own 6 motors only 2 which are near roadworthy
