We have been informed by the Chairman of the County Cups that we have been re-instated into the Les Underwood Junior Cup and will play Irchester United at the Semi Final stage at Hayden Road on a date tbc.
RETAINED!
The Lankies are pleased to announce that Horace has signed on for another year at the club
In an exclusive interview Horace revealed he was looking forward to a successful year of strategically placing himself by the bar and tripping over as many patrons has possible.
So after going 3-0 down today at Olney Gosnal-Tyler dragged us back into it before Dylan Wilson scored a well taken second ,Jory Mann then scored a peach of a free kick for number 3 before Wilson scored the 4th and ultimately the winner 2 mins from time 😄
New Signing Announcement:
Rushden & Higham United are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Tom Carroll.
Tom was formerly an apprentice at Northampton Town and last season made twenty-two appearances for Kirby Muxloe in the UCL finding the net on two occasions.
If he plays tonight striker (and occasional centre half) Jake Reynolds will notch his 200th appearance for The Lankies.
JR made his debut at Hayden Road against Lutterworth Athletic back in November 2014.
In his 199 appearances he has found the back of the net 44 times.

@ChesterfieldFC
We got a draw away at Chesterfield in the FA Cup in 1922, if you need any pointers just let us know.
Although I must warn you our scouting of the Chesterfield team maybe a little out of date.
New Signing:
Rushden & Higham United are delighted to announce the signing of Jack Bloodworth from Deeping Rangers
The former Peterborough Northern Star man made 36 appearances for Deeping last season.
Please enjoy this sumptuous freekick from Jack for Peterborough NS in 2019
Full Time:
Rushden & Higham 3-1 Long Buckby
The Lankies end a 14 game streak without a win with a Alfie Bowdler hat-trick.
A great performance by the boys especially having to play with an outfield player in goal for half an hour.
Former Lankies star doing his best to populate our Youth Team!
Congratulations to Jordan & Natasha Pendered on the birth of their 4th, 5th & 6th children!
Everyone at The Lankies would like to wish a warm welcome to Jon Shanks who has taken over the managerial reins at Hayden Road replacing the outgoing Aaron Cormack.
Good luck to Jon and a massive thank you to Aaron, Brett Clembintson and Ben Lord for all their efforts.
Apologies for the lack of updates sports fans, I had a few technological problems.
Full Time:
Raunds Town 2-3 Rushden & Higham
Goals from Luca Whitehead, Jake Reynolds (50th goal for the club) and Charlie Dolden over turned a two goal half time deficit.
In our matchday tweets we tend to concentrate mainly on the attacking players and neglect to mention the defence.
Here is a tribute to the five guys who contributed to yesterday's victory with a clean sheet.
Mitchell Sharpe
Ben Watford
Mason Jackson
Jack Bloodworth
Jayden Mann
I am so pleased for Shansky and the lads for getting the result tonight at Buckingham, they've stuck together through thick and thin during this gruelling run of fixtures.
I'm off to petition Aidy to erect ten foot golden statues of these two outside Hayden Road!
The latest projections currently have The Lankies placed back into UCL (not the UEFA Champions League) for next season after a two year hiatus in the Spartan South Midlands Division.
Today's MOTM is awarded to Dave Hunt.
- Scored a couple
- Became our leading scorer for the season
- Broke his knee
- Conducted the after match fines
What a guy!
On This Day in 2011:
Jory Mann made his Rushden & Higham debut away at Buckingham Town.
In the intervening twelve years Jory has made 289 appearances for the club finding the back of the net on 90 occasions.
Tonight's Man of the Match is awarded to teenager James Lewis who played with great distinction in an unfamiliar right back position tonight.
James is sponsored by Simpson & Weekley Estate Agents.
The Rushden & Higham "100 Club"
Please note this list covers current players only and is for Rushden & Higham appearances only.
Ben Lord also made a large number of appearances for Higham Town.

Rushden & Higham Utd would like to say a massive thank you to local taxi company "Take Me" for putting up the cash for new kit bags for the lads.
A strictly amateur club like ours couldn't survive without this sort of support from local businesses.

Ashraf Masumbuko scores his first Lankies goal, a great pass from Jack Bloodworth puts him through. The first effort was saved, but the rebound was finished with aplomb.
Congratulations to Rushden & Higham players Jake Reynolds, Ben Lord, Callum Dench and Ben Aidulis for their success over the weekend with Rushden Sargents in the NFA Sunday Trophy.
Congratulations to Ben Watford for making his 50th Rushden & Higham appearance last night.
Ben made his Lankies debut in January 2022 against Bedford under the management of Tyler Merries having signed from Irchester United.
