Every St George's day the English people are met with a dismissive wave of wild claims intended to undermine their pride and self worth. This year will be no different. However every English person should know, they are a special people with a remarkable story. Here's why. (1)

As the clocks go back, thoughts turn to the winter months. England can be grey in the rain, but if we are lucky we may get to see her looking mystical in white. These snow covered villages, mountains and dales show England at her romantic best. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Be the English, Celtic 'nationalists' believe you are. We dominated these islands and gifted the other nations untold prosperity because we WERE the big, bad wolf. They still think we are, but we haven't had that kind of backbone for a long time. Find it again, Anglos. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

The uniqueness of English culture is tangible to those who wish to see it. It lives and breathes in our celebrations and traditions. This realm isn't an economic zone, but a land and people deeply connected by behaviour, aesthetics and shared customs. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

As autumn sets in, my mind is taken back to hikes in the Lancashire Fells last summer. The peat bogs in these fells are thought to hide the remains of the ancient communities who once called these remote hills home. Now they are the perfect place for quiet reflection. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

English cathedrals possess a radiance that would tempt even the most hard-nosed skeptic to admit, "I get it". Powerful. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

What IS colonialism, is foreigners taking over England. If I went to India and Indian cities were full of white English people, they'd realise how perverse the situation is. Claudia's people are wiping mine out, with the assistance of our leaders. Enough of this gaslighting.

An appreciation post for the stiles and gates of the English countryside. For hundreds of years they have allowed us to cross our land on ancient trails unimpeded. Often this access into another valley, field or woodland can feel like stepping into another world. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
