On June 3rd, the P.S. 42 3rd Grade Chorus came to McKee High School to record in our state of the art recording studio!  McKee Audio Engineering juniors and sophomores planned, recorded, engineered and mixed six songs for the students of P.S. 42.

McKee hosted the district wide MSK meeting today. The theme of the meeting was “Barbie” and Mr. Bowen dressed up as Ken! Special guest Superintendent Dr. Marion Wilson made a surprise visit. Thank you Dr. Wilson for providing these amazing opportunities for our D31 students.

McKee’s first Multicultural Festival 🌎

On 4/3 McKee hosted its first IMPROV COMEDY WORKSHOP with mental health organization “Laughing Together” Students built & strengthen their critical social skills, practice collaboration & problem solving, strengthen non-verbal communication, laughed and had fun!

PS 26 students visit McKee High School and are the first school to record in McKees brand new Audio Engineering CTE room. They sang their version of Its Tricky by RUN DMC. Great job!

Friday, June 9 will be a remote-instruction day for the students who were scheduled to be at our schools. Additionally, it will be another remote-work day for staff—including school-based, district, and central staff.

Following guidance from City health agencies, all NYC Public Schools will be canceling all outdoor activities. Where possible, activities can be moved inside. This is a developing situation, and we will keep schools updated as new information becomes available.
