Super excited to talk at #ICDL2024 - Neda, Melissa and I will present a workshop about learning by watching in children and monkeys. I will present work from @MartinadeEccher , @RicardaBothe , @SivridagFatih , @nivedita_mani and myself. Tomorrow 20.05 @ 2pm at UTAustin!.

On train #1 of 5 on our way to @LCICD - while travelling a whole 14 hours with a station change, fingers crossed we make it to Lancaster by nightfall!! This will also be the first time I'm doing this without @judith_kali ,whom I'm already missing, 45 mins into the trip š„ŗ

What we see is that children did learn the novel object, but do so regardless of interaction quality or interest. Therefore, even if we don't see how the dynamics between these factors affect learning, we can clearly see interaction quality is predicted by children's interest\.
