Getting closer to finishing my Summer Game TTRPG but I can't tell if anyone other than me can actually run it...

Very happy to see this come out in print, finally! Very grateful to have been able to work on the end of this rather unique campaign.

Running games during the quarantine (over the web) is the only thing distracting me from the day to day anxiety. It is truly a gift to have friends who want to play your games!

Dealing with the Corona isolation by starting a Dungeonworld game about a pair of characters running away from their troubles accidentally signing on to a pirate ship. We did session zero last night. I might as well start a weekly blog about the experience!

Haven't had a writing assignment in a while, so maybe I should assign myself some writing.

I think my next planned Mage game might have as many as 7 players, if everyone shows up... this could get complicated.

Saw MIDSUMMER: A Banquet last night in LES. Great cast, fun production, good food, coproduced by @TRPNYC of @thenshefell fame. Wished for a bit more of that TSF vibe but it was really funny and charming. #Shakespeare #dinnertheater

One day before submission and everything is the worst, most terrible thing I've ever written. Of course.

Game tonight. The only notes I have are, "Spooky Scary!" But that's my default setting so it doesn't help much. Good thing it's #Bladesinthedark so the players will do most of the work.

Death metal: surprisingly good inspiration for writing about torment, torture, and traps!

Tea is a much better writing companion than whiskey ever was. Even though whiskey is delicious...

This year saw the end of 3 multi-year campaigns with 3 distinct groups, all within weeks of each other. Almost ready for another chunky game or two.

3 sessions deep, #BladesInTheDark is starting to feel a bit more natural but I feel like I still need a lot more practice and I might not be doing things right, but we're all having fun. Sneaking into hallways, beating up crazy rich dudes, feeding ghosts to pet idols. The usual.
