Rejected from a job and the reason they gave was I forgot someone's fucking name who interviewed me. Like I'm bad with names overall and sorry but in a fucking stressful interview setting yea I'm going to forget names here and there.
Hi! I'm on the hunt for a new job. I've got two years of experience with React, last 1.5 years at big credit card company. I've also worked with Node, GraphQL, and some Go. Interested in both front end and full stack roles in New York or Remote. RT's appreciated!
For my fellow Muslim devs:
I'm working on a Ramadan side project. An app that integrates with your calander and and books ten minute slots in your day to pray.
Would love to work with a couple devs to bring this to life, I'm planning to open source it and it will be free.
@CatchKristen
How is it entitled when those of us with disabilities find it incredibly easier to collaborate remotely? Neurodivergent folks like myself have been able to thrive much better.
Listened to two more unreleased Linkin Park Meteora songs - More the victim and Fighting Myself from the Howard Stern Interview with Mike Shinoda. Holy fucking shit Fighting Myself is a jam and I need the official high quality release noowwww.
Happy to announce that as of today I am now Head of Developer Relations at
@biconomy
.
Over the past few months I’ve been thinking about the terrible UX we accept in web3 today. I started doing some front end talks and workshops to talk about common UX patterns in web3 today.
So I'm happy to announce that today I accepted an offer for my first full time role as a Full Stack Developer! Will have a blog post about my journey here and some more details closer to start date!

Some news: I'm joining
@rabbithole_gg
full time as a Frontend Engineer! Made a goal to myself to get into web3 full time by the end of the year and found an awesome spot at Rabbithole to help ya'll learn about web3 and earn while you do it.
Web3 is for creators. Here is one more performance of the song that got me into rapping before I dive into some original music - some NFT Music coming at y'all real soon.
A cover of "Step up" by Linkin Park - Performed at Polygon Ignite NYC.
First lesson in Frontend to web3 will be building a simple wallet connect function. Each lesson will be small building blocks for you to take and build awesome dApps from.
Hi! I'm looking around for a new opportunity. 1.5 years working with React and Node at big credit card company and some work with pre seed start ups. I am a teaching assistant at a bootcamp as well. Looking for Fullstack and frontend roles. Would appreciate an RT!
Some personal news: Today is my last day as Head of Devrel at Biconomy. My time here has been incredible, and I'm thankful for the experiences throughout this ride.
Still bullish on Account Abstraction and on Biconomy as a leader in the space!
As for what's next? Nothing is…
Frontend to web3 tips:
A thread of tips to break into web3, I'll occasionally add to this and will eventually become a blog post and is already a talk proposed to a few conferences. Let's start with the most important one.
Some personal news:
This week is my last week at Polygon Labs. This past year has been incredible and I am so grateful to have been part of such an amazing team.
I've learned a lot, and had fun, and its the people I worked with that made this all such a wonderful experience.
Ten years ago I was a depressed college drop out with absolutely no direction. Never thought I would end up being successful in anything. Used to work 16 hour shifts at a convenience store. Eventually went to retail and then horrible call center jobs where I got yelled at all day
Impressive how folks get riled up when I start making a niche web3 community for Muslims. People have already publicly and privately tried to get me to stop. If web3 is permissionless then we can do as we wish. Thread
Are you a frontend dev wanting to get into web3? Drop your eth addy/ens in the replies. This is for early access to my frontend web3 course - mint will be free and gas will be covered :).
You might have heard about Account Abstraction. Everyone is talking about it, but it's still hard to follow and figure out how we can take advantage of it as developers. This is the first in a series of threads to get you up to speed on Account Abstraction!
What can Account Abstraction do for existing dApps? Check out this small demo I built of a Proof of Concept for adding AA features to
@Uniswap
. Social logins, Fiat onboarding, Gasless Transactions, and Batching transactions all appear thanks to the
@biconomy
SDK!
Otherwise I was apparently what they were looking for from a technical standpoint. Like fucking seriously? I'll learn people's names once I fucking start.
In December I am going to personally give away 10
@developer_dao
memberships using my $Code token allocation.
One way to get into Developer DAO is by owning 400 $Code Tokens. See thread below on how to enter, make sure you actually read through everything.
My wife is appalled because our daughter said that Blockchain for Babies is her favorite book. True web3 native getting ready to become a blockchain dev.
Some news:
Had a nice couple of months out focused primarily on Family. It's time now to get back into things!
Excited to announce that I've joined
@MorphL2
as a Senior Developer Relations Engineer.
Looking forward to seeing folks who will be at
@EthereumDenver
next week!
Just reflecting on the last few years -
I went from Frontend Engineering to founding failed startups - back to frontend engineering this time in web3. Then ultimately jumped into devrel and I've loved it. Been almost 9 months here.
Have been mentoring a couple people on and off for the past few months. One has their first job and one is on their way there. I'd like to keep this going. If you're interested in web3/frontend/devrel and are looking for your first job let's see how I can help. See thread 👇
Just hit 3 months of being a professional Software Engineer. Feel like I've already learned a ton and I keep learning more every day. If you're trying to break into tech, keep going! It's tough but you can do it.
🚨 Hiring Alert 🚨
I have three openings on my team for Developer Advocates in the following regions:
APAC (Preference for Korea)
India
LATAM
I'm looking for folks who can help in these regions by running technical workshops, supporting devs, and creating content. Links below!
@traversymedia
I was burnt out for two months straight and couldn't bring myself to do anything. What helped me was to try to stop forcing myself to code and just accept I needed to rest. Played video games, focused on family and did some writing. Its important to have things outside of code.
There are a few women who are wanting to break into web3 and hoping to claim a
@surge_women
NFT. Asking dudes like me who've benefited from our privlege to step up and help gift a couple. Who can help? Will match up to $300 in commitments to this.
Hiring a Developer Relations Engineer. Looking for folks with an engineering background, this role will be a mix of Solutions Engineering and Devrel.
If you're excited about the concept of improving UX in web3 and helping teams build awesome solutions with Account Abstraction…
What would be cool - getting together a hack group where we can experiment on different web3 ideas maybe every couple months. Would be dope to have designers, devs, PM's. Like an informal hackathon where we just hack from time to time on something cool. Who's in?
Over the past year I have slowly come off medication for depression and anxiety and in the last couple of months I have gone from weekly therapy sessions to two a month and slowly am thinking about just doing therapy as needed if I feel I need extra support.
It has been a lot of…
Got to give a talk today for
@ReactMiamiConf
on Frontend Developers Guide to Web3. Thank you for having me and thank you to everyone who came to see me speak! I will have slides and some resources up soon for folks interested in diving further into web3!

The first
#100Web3
Twitter spaces aimed at helping devs find jobs in the web3 space is now scheduled! Come by and chat with me and
@metaintro
as we talk about getting jobs in web3!
Metaintro is the professional resume wallet for web3.
Last year Eth Denver was my first ever Web3 event and was the kick off to so many more events over the next several months. Came to the event after leaving an engineering job and focusing on devrel.
This year I spoke at the main event as Head of Developer Relations at Biconomy.…
Hiring developer advocates who:
- Have previous engineering experience
- love teaching and mentoring developers
- love open source
- want to help teams and projects make huge waves in web3
Located in Korea, India, or Latin America?
I think you'll love what we do at Polygon.
Appreciation post for an absolute fucking hero:
@0ceans404
.
If you want to see someone absolutely nailing Developer Relations it's Steph. Incredible technical workshops, supporting builders and devs through the night, and putting them first above everyone else.
Some Alpha:
A dApp built around a basic smart contract that increments a counter variable.
- No wallet needed
- Gasless transactions
- Seamless web2 experience
Coming soon to a starter guide near you!
I feel like both Lost and Fighting Myself are better than a bunch of the songs that did make the cut on the album and I wonder why they decided not to include these two in the original release.
Started on this - I remixed
@dabit3
's
@BundlrNetwork
tutorial and made it upload mp3's instead of images. So music uploads powered by bundlr and Matic on Polygon are now set. Next up is to incorporate
@LensProtocol
to create a music post. Check out the preview w/ audio 👀
Think I’ll be going back on meds soon for my depression. Sharing this because I had shared when I came off them as a win and although its felt like a blow to my moral a bit I know I am going to need them again.
Depression comes in waves and some of them are harder to deal with…
Loved this tutorial from
@crypblizz
so I followed it and added
@biconomy
sdk to create a smart account as well. Was the best time I've ever had with React Native lol.
Tutorial coming soon but heres the code...
Build a React Native app... in just 10 minutes?!
In this video tutorial, WalletConnect DevRel
@crypblizz
shows you how to:
1⃣ Set up a RN Expo project
2⃣ Install WalletConnect Modal
3⃣ Initialize the package
4⃣ Add in the modal hooks
All this in 10⌚️
Gave notice today at my current job. I'm going to be switching careers in a couple weeks to be a Software Engineer at American Express! Blog post coming soon!
My story of diving into web3 and devrel. I decided not to leave out the hard parts, though I probably didn't write the full extent of the effects it had on me. My goal is to help others now in this space to learn and not make some of the mistakes I did. Blog link below 👇
Casually looking through
@developer_dao
discord and I see that there are travel sponsorships now for folks to attend DevConnect and Eth Amsterdam. This really is one of the best communities to join as someone interested in web3.
Content I'm working on:
For FrontendWeb3:
- Getting up and running with wagmi npm package
- Reading data from an existing smart contract
- Using Alchemy NFT API (wen public)
Other:
Smart Contract + UI to mint a personal NFT for Twitter
FrontendWeb3 dropping in February :)
Devrel exists because marketing has traditionally failed at interacting with developer communities. Its always interesting to see some marketing teams never learning this and repeating mistakes over and over.
Most tutorials/education materials/roadmaps won't be enough to get you a job as a dev in web3 or anywhere else. Not a popular opinion but it's the truth. You'll need to supplement your learning with a few things. Here's part 1: reading other people's code and communication 👇
How to get the
@ensdomains
username for a wallet connected to your dApp using Ethers and React! First of several shorter tutorials to get started building in web3. What would you like to see next?
Frontend to Web3 is now a project being handled by the education team from
@developer_dao
. Super excited to see where those folks take my initial project!
Let's dive into Lesson 2 of Account Abstraction:
Demystifying the UserOperation
In my last thread, I mentioned that the UserOperation keeps track of data needed to execute a transaction. Let's dive into this further and define it properly in the thread below!
React to Web3
A Protocol Explorer Course
After delivering this workshop at a few different conferences in the last couple of years, I've decided to convert it into a course: a React developer guide to building in Web3.
A peak at how this will be structured 👇 🧵
Polygon zkEVM road to Mainnet begins today. First we open source the code. For transparency, for nerds like me to dive in, and for everyone to play a part in making sure this launches with full confidence. I can't wait to help you all launch on testnet and Mainnet soon after.
EIP 3074 Explained
Check out Part 1 of my explainer video on EIP 3074 which has taken the Account Abstraction space by storm. Kind of like this heavy storm here in Dubai.
